Today, I help homeowners bring those ideas to life through warm, modern landscapes that feel both beautiful and practical. My Story
Founded by designer Jeff West, Stem and Stone Design is a boutique landscape design studio specializing in premium residential outdoor environments across Southern California. Jeff’s background in art, design, and construction shaped the foundation of the studio — a place where creativity and technical expertise come together to form elevated landscapes with purpose.
Stem and Stone Design grew out of Jeff’s desire to bring a higher level of design detail to homeowners — the kind typically only found in architecture or interior design. Through refined master plans, precise base maps, 3D modeling, and carefully curated planting palettes, the studio delivers a complete vision that guides homeowners and contractors through every step of the transformation.
